New York attracts many people with the Statue of Liberty, which promises freedom and prosperity to everyone who believes that they can reach success, achieve more and realize their goals here, in the "City That Never Sleeps".
New York is one of the greatest cities in the world. It is also a global city, which has an influence on the world economy. Manhattan, the heart of the financial sector bewitches with its magical buildings, several of which are amongst the tallest in the world!
New York is not only the leading city in finance but also in culture and of course in entertainment too. There are so many films set in New York that it is not enough space to write them down on several pages. There are too many of them! Everyone remembers King Kong, not least the sequel which was made in 2005 when of course the original film was made a long time ago in 1933.
Who does not know Kramer vs. Kramer, the best picture of 1979, or Independence Day (1996), or The Day After Tomorrow (2004), or War of the Worlds (2005).
New York is always in the movies. During the last 4 years were made such famous films as Spider-man, glamorous Sex and the City, X-Men, The Devil Wears Prada and The Fantastic Four!!!!
